Copeton Dam Northern Foreshores operates as a fishing and camping destination about 20 kilometres from Inverell. The site offers 12 powered sites at $20 per night and unpowered sites at $15, with campgrounds spread around the dam and lake views from many spots. The amenities block gets consistent praise for being immaculate and well-maintained, with showers, toilets, and laundry facilities including a washer and dryer. A water park for kids sits on the grounds, and the kiosk serves food and smoothies.
